Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate!
In honor of the holiday, my friend C posted the following as her Facebook status*, and honestly, it's resonating more with me as a D mama than it is as Jew. So I thought I'd share it with all of you.

Hanukkah Lessons
1. Don't give in to darkness. Create light.
1. Don't give in to darkness. Create light.
2. When you feel spent, remember a little oil goes a long way.
3. Life is as unpredictable as a dreidel. Enjoy the good, expect to face bumps, and know they too will pass.
4. Miracles do happen. Expect them, look for them, recognize them.
5. Stand up and fight for what's right.
6. We have the power to rebuild, to pick ourselves up and illuminate the world.
