I'm participating in Diabetes Blog Week, a week in which bloggers create daily posts revolving around a set topic. Thank you Karen from Bitter-Sweet Diabetes for starting this awesome idea last year and continuing it this year!
Today’s topic: Saturday Snapshots
“Inspired by the Diabetes 365 Project, let's snap
a few more d-related pictures and share them again.”

WOW, I forgot b/c we have been on a pump for so long. That is powerful Heidi.
Wow... I had to re-read the caption a few times. We're pretty lucky that Elise only gets 3 shots per day.
That's a lot of needles.
Thats alot of pokes. :(
Looks familiar, Sarah was taking at least 4-5 per day before she got her pump.
Such a powerful picture! I had to call Bean over to see it and she was like "wow! that's a lot of shots." It's easy to forget when you've been podding for 7 months what a day with shots looks like! Thanks for sharing!
It's been so long since we've done shots, but I can still remember so clearly! Very powerful message!
Wow. That was moving. A single pic. It's been over a year since we've use syringes, we moved quickly to pens and now pumping. But this really got me. It's amazing sometimes the power of a picture.
Great pic, very powerful.
Yep - those look pretty familiar. Seems like everyone is on a pump - nice to know there are others using syringes. Cooper is on a big honeymoon so we are lucky to be using 0-1 a day right now. Enjoying it while it lasts.
Powerful.
Intense.
Real.
That picture sucks.
We are increasing Ellie's Lantus by .5 increments so we have to use syringes on the 1/2 unit step up. Tonight was another increase and major big alligator tears appeared when I pulled out the equipment. She just HATES the syringes. The pens are not an issue . . . maybe the visual. IDK. The pump cannot come soon enough!
Even though the subject matter of the photo sucks, the photo itself is pretty awschum. ;)
